Follow this step-by-step guide in order to set up and design name badge labels in the Ticketbutler system (if you're using an external registration system, read this article instead).

- Log in to your Ticketbutler dashboard and select your event.
- Click on the "Name badges" tab on the left (if you cannot see the tab, contact Ticketbutler at hello@ticketbutler.io or via tel. +45 89 80 12 80, after which we will activate the function for you).
- Click on the "Name badge" tab and then "Design name badge".
- Select your chosen label type.
- Upload a design with e.g. logo or other graphics (or leave it blank).
- Click "Continue".
- Choose which fields you would like printed on the label.
- Drag the fields out to the each edge and choose the size, font and position.
- Click "Save".
NB! The printer is thermal, meaning it only prints in black and white. This also means that it's cheaper to operate, more sustainable, weighs less and does not require ink refills.
Link to registration at the door
Do you expect last-minute walk-ups? Great, the more, the merrier! Simply use the "Registration at the door"-link for quick and easy registration.
Does an attendee have badge amendments at the door? No problem. Use the same "Registration at the door" link to register anew - or edit the attendee details in the Ticketbutler dashboard and re-print badges onsite within seconds.
How to edit in the Ticketbutler dashboard:
- Log in to your Ticketbutler dashboard and select your event.
- Click on "Guest Support"
- Search for the attendee in question
- Click on the pencil icon next to the name
- Edit and save
- Re-print immediately via the app.
Find the link for registration at the door by following these steps:
- Log in to your Ticketbutler dashboard and select your event.
- Click on the "Name badge" tab on the left.
- Click on "Registration at the door".
- Copy the link and open it on e.g. an iPad or laptop.
- Now your guests can register themselves at the door (or you can have dedicated check-in staff registering for them).
- Once your guest has clicked save, the guest list in the check-in app will automatically update.
- Print the name badge label by checking in via "Check in Guest by list".
Additional questions for registrants at the door
Is there additional information that you would like to receive from the guests who register at the door? Add extra fields in the registration at the door link by following these steps:
- Go to your event in your dashboard and click "Guest Information".
- Select "Questions for each attendee".
- Select the question type.
- Select the ticket type "Registration at the door".
- Add your question and decide if it should be required to answer or not.
- Click "Save".
