Are you planning an event with several ticket types, e.g. early bird, VIP, adult vs. child, morning vs. evening, student, etc.?
Then just follow these steps:
- Log in to your Ticketbutler dashboard and select your event.
- Clck "Edit event" and scroll to the bottom.
- Create extra ticket types by clicking "Add ticket type".
- Fill out all info.
- Click "Save event".
Advanced settings
Click on "advanced settings" under each ticket type to expand additional options, e.g.:
- Sales start date for ticket type
- Sales end date for ticket type
- Specific date for ticket type
- Ticket type description
- Display order.
"Sales end date for ticket type" is typically used for e.g. "Early bird" tickets that are only available for a limited amount of time in order to encourage ticket buyers to purchase their tickets sooner.
"Specific date for ticket type" is typically used if you have multiple times or "time slots" at your event, e.g. if you're hosting a beer festival with tastings every 2 hours, or if you're a museum with multiple tours on the same day.
The "Ticket type description" will appear on your event page under the ticket type in question and can contain both informative and/or selling text about the specific ticket.
"Display order" is the order in which the different ticket types are displayed on your event page. If you do not fill in the display order, the ticket types will simply be displayed in alphabetical order.
