Create multiple users in your Ticketbutler dashboard so each individual on your team or in your company/organisation has their own access to the system.
Creating a user
Follow these steps to add more users:
- Click "General Settings"
- Click "Teams and Users"
- Click "+Add User"
- Enter the user info
- Assign a role (organiser, administrator or observer)
- Choose which team(s) to invite user to
- Click "+Add User" to save.
NB! Only admins can create new users.
User roles
The role that you assign to the user has something to do with the rights that the user must have to the system:
- "Administrator" has rights to view and edit everything
- "Organizer" has access to change everything except bank details and teams
- "Observer" cannot change the event settings, but has access to follow the ticket sales, download data about the guests and to the check-in tab.
An example of an observer could be a member of the catering staff, as they would benefit from being able to login regularly to e.g. see how many attendees have ordered a vegetarian menu, so they can prepare grocery shopping and other preparations ahead of time.
Teams
In addition to user roles, you as an admin have the opportunity to create "teams".
Creating teams can be beneficial for 4 main reasons:
- you can categorise your events, as well as choose who should have access to the specific "subcategories".
- you can enter team specific standard information, which will automatically be added to the events that are created under the team in question.
- you can see the ticket sales associated with your different teams in the overview
- you can show the ticket buyer tickets based on the team.
How do I add an event to a specific team?
You link a specific team with your event by following these steps:
- Click on the event in question
- Click "Edit event"
- Select the correct team in the dropdown box
- Click "Save".
NB: If you only have one team, you won't be able to see the dropdown field.
How do I deactivate a team?
Deactivate a team by following these steps:
- Click "General Settings" top right
- Click "Teams and Users"
- Select the team in question
- Click "Deactivate Team"
- Click ok if there are no active events associated with that particular team.
