To gather additional information from your guests and/or ticket buyers as an organiser, you might need some extra details. For example, if you're hosting an event with food, the kitchen staff might want to know how many people prefer a vegetarian menu.
Here's how you can ask questions to the person who places the order (one order can contain several tickets):
- Go to your Ticketbutler page.
- Select "Information about guests" on the left side.
- Choose "Questions for the purchaser" from the menu.
- Here, you'll already see the fields for name, email, and phone, as these are standard settings that can't be changed.
- Click on "Add new question" to include more questions for your ticket buyers.
- Remember to click "Save" after you have added your questions.
And here's how you can create questions to be filled out per ticket ordered in one order:
- Go to your Ticketbutler page.
- Select "Information about guests" on the left side.
- Then choose "Questions for each attendee" from the menu.
- Click on "Add new question".
- If you have multiple ticket types, choose whether the question applies to all or a specific ticket type.
- Remember to click "Save" after you have added your questions.
Please note that according to GDPR regulations, it's a good idea to limit the questions you ask. Only include the questions that are strictly necessary for your event.
Download guest data
You can retrieve the data from your guests and ticket buyers later on and view it yourself. Simply follow these steps:
- Go to your Ticketbutler page.
- Select "Information about guests" on the left side.
- Select "Answers data" in the horisontal menu.
- Click on "Export guest data".
Please note that according to GDPR regulations, it's a good idea to delete the data from your computer once you're done using it.
