At Ticketbutler, you have the flexibility to decide whether the ticket fee should be included in the ticket price or paid by your guests.
We want to make it easy for you to choose the option that suits you best. Here's a simple guide to help you make that decision:
1. If you choose to have the attendee pay:
- The ticket fee will be added on top of the ticket price.
- Your guests will see the total ticket price, including the fee.
2. If you choose to have the organiser pay:
- The ticket fee will be included in the ticket price you set.
- The fee will be deducted from your final payout.
Your choice is largely a matter of preference. We offer some of the lowest ticket fees in the market, so don't hesitate to have the attendee pay. This is also the option most organisers prefer.
Here's a step-by-step guide to configuring who pays the ticket fee:
- Go to your Ticketbutler dashboard.
- Select the event in question.
- On the left-hand side, click on "Ticket settings and discounts".
- Then, choose "General ticket settings" from the menu.
- You'll find the option to select who should pay the ticket fee (organiser or attendee).
Please note that your chosen setting cannot be changed once the first ticket is sold.
