Calculate the ticket fee

Wondering how to calculate the ticket fee? We understand it can be a bit tricky, so we've created this simple Fee Calculator for you.

Basically, the steps in the calculation are as follows;

1. Add the Danish VAT to the ticket fee (since the DKK 4 + 4% is excluding VAT).*
2. Take your ticket price and add 5 DKK (which represents the DKK 4 + VAT).
3. Multiply this amount by 0.05 + 5 DKK (this accounts for the percentage of the ticket price, the fixed fee, and the VAT).

To avoid high fees, we have a cap on the ticket fee at 60 DKK excl. VAT.

*Contact us for a custom fee quote if you sell more than 5,000 tickets annually.

Now, who pays the ticket fee?

The choice is yours!

1. If you select "Attendee pay" for the specific event in your dashboard, the fee will be added on top of the ticket price.
2. If you choose "Organiser pay," the fee will be included in the ticket price you set, and it will be deducted from your final payout.

The decision largely depends on your preference. Don't worry about choosing to have the ticket buyers pay - this is common practice in the event industry and most organisers prefer this option. Besides, we offer some of the lowest ticket fees in the market.
